Tiny, dark-green bugs?

Hey all!

Several months ago (ok, maybe a year), I've noticed these small, shiny, green-tinted bugs walking around my kitchen floor. Some are much smaller than the one in the photo, but most are about that size. They move pretty slowly, with their antennae feelin' around. I don't want to jinx it, but while I do find an occasional one on a counter, most stay on the floor, and usually by my patio door. Does anyone know what these little guys are? I'm sick of squishing 'em!

Thanks, PAbugman! If it helps at all, I live in Northern Minnesota. I had done some research before posting, but came up empty-handed.

Iím not coming up with anything. Take specimens to a county agricultural extension office; here in Pa it would be a Penn State ext office. This is a beetle thatís typically an outdoor beetle Iím thinking but for some reason itís getting inside. Are they all this small?

Keep us posted with what you find; Iíll keep trying as well.

A magnified picture would probably be a big help. I was comparing your insect to the beetles shown at Order Coleoptera - Beetles - BugGuide.Net but didn't see any exact matches.
