Tiny bugs in bathroom

Hi, I have a bunch of these tiny black bugs that make their way into my bathroom in the summer. This is the 2nd year it has happened. I clean up about 20 of them per day. Can someone help me identify them and recommend how to stop them?

Sorry about that. Here is the attached picture zoomed into the bug. Keep in mind it's about only 1-2 millimeters in length. I think its a plaster beetle after doing some research.

Edit: Also attached a google image I found of the exact same bug next to a finger for scale.

I can't see details of the beetle but it does resemble a "plaster beetle" when I searched it. I have no experience with these guys and it does sound like it is rare. Apparently a moisture source/fungus is their food and harborage.

I don't have much to offer insecticide treatment wise. It might be a good idea to get a positive ID though, to make sure that you go in the right direction. Taken specimens to the local County Agricultural Extension Agent for an objective ID would be a worthwhile step. The more knowledge we have, the better effort we can make. Keep us posted.
