Baseboard heater and mouse issues
HI,
I probably should have asked this before doing it, but I will now anyways.
I have noticed mice coming in and out of the (fairly large) hole where the baseboard heater pipes are. I removed the casing and added a bunch of steel wool to it + spray foam (Mouse Shield Foam Sealant + Blocker | Touch 'n Foam). I am now concerned if this is a fire hazard - having all of this dry foam near a heater?
I attached photos of what the area looked like before / after.
Thanks!

It looks to be a hot water boiler system and not a steam, so fire hazard shouldn't be an issue. I would however suggest checking their website and MSDS for the temp ratings

I have no experience with the mouse foam but the steel wool will work well to stop mice. If you have foam that might be blocking airflow I would cut away the excess.
