Are these insect bites and do they need to be treated or go away on their own?

side of the leg itchy for the past week, took a shot of it and looks like two punctures, no idea what this is but don't recall getting poked by any foreign object

I don't see two punctures but I do see two areas where it looks like you scratched the top off blisters or bumps. I would apply an anti-itch cream and try to not scratch it.

Maybe, maybe not. That's not a good answer, I know. When spiders bite they make two punctures but that doesn't mean this is a spider bite.

This article has some good strategy on reacting to possible spider bites. Takes a lot of clicking to get through it though, but I liked it.
