What's this winged bug?

What's this winged bug?

I saw about 10 of them on the outside of my house. What might it be?

It may be a type of salmonfly.

Some type of longhorned beetle, even if it is a wood boring beetle this isn't one of those that infest structures. If you want to pursue ID, take specimens, not crushed, to a local county agricultural extension office. They will give objective advice. I've used them in the past. Here in PA it is an extension of Penn State.

Tony's ID as a salmon fly is interesting. Sure does look similar; I didn't know about them. Could be good fishbait!

Thank you. My biggest concern was making sure they're not a wood-destroying bug. More of them showed up after my post, but they seem to be gone today.

They do look close to the salmon fly, or others that I found called stone fly or snow fly.
