Anyone build a mosquito misting system?
Was wondering if anyone has tried this and results. I have a 40 gal. drum and various pumps but not sure about pressures, footage, etc. Currently spraying yard/house with Talstar but still getting bit at times.

I do no believe in nuking an huge areaa with pesticides. You kill a hundred or thousand beneficial insects for each bad one. I much prefer to use something like Thermacell to keep mosquitoes away. And, humans have been trying to get rid of mosquitoes for more than a millennia. You will find that you cannot get rid of every one of them. There will always be some that survive.
You just need to spray. That is generally done between 20 and 40 psi though you can go higher or lower depending on your spray nozzles. In general higher pressure produces finer droplets for more efficient pesticide use but you get more drift. Lower pressure tends to create larger droplets that don't get blown by the wind so much but you may have to apply more product to achieve the coverage you want.
As for asking about "footage", I have no idea what you mean?
