Hello to all,
I am finding these things stuck to the top of my interior door moldings. They are hard and dry and are about 10-12mm long and some are more of a disk shape. No smell. Any idea what these are?
Thanks in advance. 10-12mm long 6mm high some are more of a disk shape
My guess would be a messy painter left you some "presents" from his caulking gun. Caulk would continue to leak out his tube when he set it down and when he picked it up, he wiped it up there like a booger. But it looks like construction adhesive so could be that another trade did it. Flooring maybe?
I'm leaning towards them being old cockroach bait placements that came out of a syringe type applicator that has hardened. Look in other areas such as under the sink, kitchen cabinet cracks and crevices, etc.
I have always noticed a lot of spider webs in the bushes and plants around my house, but there seem to be a lot more than usual on the house (doorways, windows, eaves, etc.) and I have been noticing some inside more than there used to be. The stinkbugs are also starting to appear, mostly outside, but occasionally I find one inside. What is a good treatment to keep these away? Does both the outside and inside need to be treated? Thank you.Read More
On the second floor on the outside wall of my house, i've seen wasps gather a lot. I expect that they found a little hole / crack in the wall and made a nest there. Now i hear constant buzzing coming from inside the wall.
Also, somehow even though my sliding windows are completely closed, the wasps are able to enter my bedroom through the window! How? Well, apparently, there's a gap between the 2 windows and for some reason, also a little hole. I don't know if they come through the hole or the upper ''hole'' where the window slides in a frame, i just saw a wasp crawl out of that direction earlier.
The problem is that the second floor is pretty high. I don't have a ladder that reaches that high.
Is there a way for me to kill the nest myself? Or do you guys recommend hiring someone?
Also will the wasps die this winter, or will it become a bigger problem if i don't get rid of them now?
Finally what do you recommend to close my window gap? Should i just put some ductape/mosquito net on there and hope for the best?
