What Bug Is This-Should I Be Concerned?

Hello,

Very recently, I've seen a few of these bugs in the ground level of my home (no basement). What kind of bug is this, and should I be overly concerned?

Thanks.

Can you get a closer pic showing more detail?
It doesn't look like it's something to be overly concerned about.

Looks like a roly poly to me. I don't think they're anything to worry about but PAbugman will know better.

OK. I googled roly polies. If this is what they are, it makes sense. I have two bags of potting soil outside of the patio door, where I think that they may be coming in. I will relocate these bags and see if I observe any differences.

Thanks!

Either a "pill bug" (roly-poly), or "sow bug". Harmless either way. Occasional invaders from exterior. Certain environmental conditions, breeding season, etc will cause more of them at certain times of the year.

Also, known as a woodlouse or wood lice (when referring to more than one of them). They commonly feed on decaying wood, leaf litter, fungi, fallen fruit, etc. and live for 3-4 years.
