I've turned my garage into a woodshop. I do not plan on heating it but would like to insulate the roof so it stays a little warmer in the winter. It also needs a new roof. Instead of insulating inside can I use rigid foam over the current shething without causeing a moister problem and reroof over that.

This will work, but are you sure that you want to DIY? Do you have the time to sink into this project?

Depending on where you live I would recommend the rigid foam and a metal roof over it.
