Building our 3rd home[What were we thinking!?]Insulated interior walls for sound before with faced batts with ok results. Any one tried sound reducing insulative batts from owens-corning? 2x4walls with sheetrock on top. deeper walls, staggered studs not an option. What else can I do. As always, price is a concern.
Responses appreciated.

You can do what all the motels do. Put up sound resistant sheetrock or soundboard as it is called. Only a few dollars more per sheet, effective, but heavier then normal sheetrock.
