I am converting part of the attic into a walk in closet. Is it advisable to insulate in between the roof beems under the drywall. I have heard it can rot the roof out.
You need to leave a 2" air space between the roof sheathing and the insulation. Also provide for inlet air at the bottom of this air space and a means to exhaust it at, or near, the top.
What is the best kind of insulation to use on a basement bedroom?
The room has cement on the bottom half.
Also, If I use foam insulation do I need to cover with a vapour plastic?
thanks.Read More
