Cutting rigid insulation

I want to install rigid insulation on my garage door and am wondering about the best method to cut the 4'x8'x3" sheets. It was suggested I use an electric carving knife but don't own one. Any other ideas for a good cut?

You might want to just get the cheapest serrated bread knife you can find
