Insulating walls with no VB

I just purchased a 100 year old two story house with plaster walls. Most of the exterior walls have no insulation. I am thinking about blowing in new insulation from the outside. Unfortunally there is no vapor barrier and the inside of all the exterior walls have been redone so a VB paint ect is not an option at this point. Am I wasting my time and money by adding insulation without a VB? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Insulation

Yes and no. What we have found out.The insulation will work say like for the winter about up till the first of the year thats when you can start to feel the dampness in it because of no vapor barrier. From there on out its the same as not have any. Then in the summer it will dry out and its starts all over again ED
