blown insulation

I have heard that cellulose is more likely to have a "mold" problem. I have a 1900 sq.ft. house with rock wool blown, and wanted to add to it. I live in San Antonio, TX where the attics get very hot. What is the best solution for my needs.

Have used cellulose from about the 70 and have had no trouble like you say. I say put some more in.But I also would say look at the vents you have could be you need more. Also look at a vent fan up there on the roof . Not the turban vents but a fan vent that works on temp in the attic. One of them is like adding a 1/2 ton of ac to your home for just "cents "per day ED
