Foam, Fiberglass or ??

I'm remodeling the second floor on my story and 1/2 and I'm trying to figure out what the best insulation solution is. My knee wall is about 3.5 feet, the collor tie is about 3 feet with about 2 feet to the peak and the angled part of the roof is about 4 feet. I've furred the 2x4 rafters with 2x2's for added space.

This is a Dept. of Energy fact sheet on insulation. It gives you guide lines for determining the amount of insulation that should be installed in your home. Considering the type of construction your second floor has and the climate your area usually experiences, I would recommend a foam product or rigid board insulation. The reason for this is the insulating value these products have per inch, which is usually higher than other types of insulation.
