Question Unusual Insulation Material

I was contacted by a contractor doing some insulation work for me. He came accross some material in an attic which he described as Thermalcrete Gypsum. He described the product as very dusty and asked me what to do.
He estimated that the attic he was in was insulated to approximately an R-11 with this material. I mentioned that if the contractor had health concerns to leave the attic and not to disturb the product.
He said that he did not have any concerns. I then recommended that he and his work crew wear the proper protection regardless, and told him to complete his job.
I have done a search and cannot find any information regarding this product.
Does anyone here have any info?
TIA
