Looking for some tips on how to insulate a bulkhead I have a new home built with a bulkhead. I installed a door at the bottom of the the stairs leading into the basement I insulated around the door the best that I could but it seems with these cold New England temps I need more insulation lots of cold air coming through the door. Any ideas would be helpful. Thank You.

When you say bulkhead I think of my boat. But for a door you could think about the polystyrene and foam sheets that they have and put this on the door. If its a hollow door you could try and fill it with foam. or get a door thats not hollow. ED
