Insulate a garage under a bedroom?

We are building a new home and need to chose if we want to insuate the garage that is under our master bedroom. Cost is not a consideration. We do not plan to heat/cool the garage. My thought is not to insulate because in essence we would be creating a "refrigerator" under the living space which will retain cold air and heat. I believe this will make the room above uncomfortable.

Our builder want to insulate the garage. We both agree that insulating the ceiling and common wall between the house is very important. Any thoughts?

Insulating

Best to do any work now. And since money is no object (even though this is an inexpensive job), I say go for it. A penny spent on insulating means dollars saved in heating. And, it will help in the long run with exhaust fumes.

You can do a search on this forum and also garages. Consistent reports are that full garage insulation keeps the rooms above warmer.
