insulation over attic floor ad loose fill???

I would like to add insulation to my attic, and i currently have loose fill insulation. my attic has flooring over 80% of the attic. can i cover the floor and open areas with rolled fiberglass insulation or do i need to pull the floor up?

Wink

They have a roll insulation just for that. It has no cover on it at all. Just put it on across the ceiling rafters Look for attic blanket its a R-25. Let the floor there.

thanks a lot this info will make the job a lot easier......also, by putting the blanket over the floor, does it reduce the effectiveness of the R-value of the blaket/insulation????
