Insulation near chimney

I need to add R13 insulation on an exterior wall in my attic. A chimney is in the middle of the wall. Do I need to make sure that the insulation does not come in contact with the chimney? If so, how do I do this?
There is some room between where insulation will go (between the studs) and the chimney, but not much... maybe an inch or two. Do I need some special matterial to go between the insulation and chimney?

Thanks for your help!
