how to calculate blown in attic insulation

Hi! We are planning to add 12" of fiberglass blown in insulation to our attic. Does anyone know how we calculate just how many bags of insulation we need to do that? We live rurally so we can't just run down to the store and pick up another 6 bags of insulation so it's important that we have the right amount. Thanks in advance for your help!

Know the sq ft of the attic L X W you want to blow the insulation in. On all the bags it will say how many sq ft it will cover for how deep. Id blow in the cellulose kind of insulation if you can get it there. Not as bad and dont itch.
