Zonolite insulation dangerous?

Can anyone tell me anything about Zonolite loose fill insulation? It is a vermiculite insulation (looks like little grey/silver/gold accordian shaped pebbles). Some of the vermiculite used was tainted with high amounts of asbestos. A plant that processed over 300 million pounds of the stuff was literally a few miles from my home (Dearborn, MI).

I'm 99% sure that this is the type of insulation that is in my attic, although, that is not to say that it is necessarily tainted with asbestos. Understandably, I am quite worried now, as I have been doing some renovations on my house, and I have surely breathed some of the dust.

I don't know what to do. Is there any way I can get this stuff tested?

Thank you for the links, Doug.

I've found a lab in Ann Arbor that can do the testing, so I guess I'll just have to cross my fingers until then.

It's good to see Michigan so well represented here
