Insulation question

I'm selling my house to a young couple who are financing through rural developement. I have R-30 insulation in my ceiling and they require R-32. I was wanting to know how thick I would need to go with blown-in insulation to meet this requirement of an R-2 factor. Any help in this matter would be deeply appreciated.

Thanks,

About an inch would give you the R-2 but it seems not worth doing it for that little. Meaning to say what it would cost you to blow in 1 inch, you will probably be able to install 3 inches at not much difference in cost.
