Question Insulating Around Knob-Tube wiring

How exactly is this done, if it can be accomplished? I have knob and tube in my basement near the foundation walls that I'd like to insulate, but I've read that you cannot have insulation near this type of wiring because of the fire risk.

Any suggestions, or do I just avoid this at all costs?

Thanks

Yes, you should not insulate over knob and tube wiring. Considering the age of this wiring, you should consider replacing it with Romex.
