insulation pantry

I recently added a 26' by 26' garage with a 26' by 14' by 8' bonus room above. I do not have heat in the bonus room, but would like to construct an 8' by 5' pantry within this space. Can I effectively insulate the pantry from the winter cold and summer heat, and if yes, HOW? thanks in advance

Insulation retards heat flow. Which explicitly implies there must be a source of heat. So insulating an unheated pantry will very little effect during the winter and summer. In other words, insulation reduces heat loss and heat gain. It does not stop it. Without heating or air conditioning inside the pantry, the insulation will do very little for you.
