Opinion on R13 Insulation batts

OK, having been to HD and Lowes . HD sells the pink stuff by Owens and Lowes sells John Mansville.

My question is the John Mansville stuff is a totally encased fiberglass batt in a plastic tube eseentially. What are opinions on this product vs the usual Owens which is faced on 1 side.

By the way I live in central CCalifornia. Never gets too hot of too cold.

If you look closely at the Manville product, you will notice that 3 of the sides are thin plastic and one side will be of a heavier plastic. It will also state on that one side that it is a vapor barrier. The advantage to the encased fiberglass insulation is that it minimizes the amount of insulation you will get in contact with. If you have ever worked with this stuff, it can be very itchy to some people.
