Crawl space insulating question.

I have a smaller house, approx 730 sq feet, on top of a two foot crawl space. The floor isn't cold but I wanted to insulate the crawlspace. I am wondering if I need to insulate the entire floor, or if it will be just as good to insulate just few feet in from the exterior walls?
Thanks

The Rim/Band joists are considered the thinnest portion of the house and therefore the most cost effective to have insulated (just a few feet in from the exterior walls). However, considering the size (750 sq. ft.) I would recommend insulating the entire floor.
