stucco wall insulation

We live in a '58 stucco house with no insulation in the walls. Is there a way to punch holes in the sides and pump in some insulation? What is the best way to insulate?

airman- If I re-stucco using a different technique, would that give me an additional insulation benefit? It would also give me a "newer" look rather than that 50's stucco look.
