proper method for floor insulating

I am building an addition (18x14) on a mobile home on cement pad. I have built the subfloor on 16" centers using 2x8's, with a crawlspace of about 30 inches. My question is: what is the preferred method to insulate floors? The joists are open and I have easy access to the underside.

Unfortunately areas like these, little critters like to nest. Most instances people staple a perforated sheets, like the ones you find on soffits/eaves to the underside of the joists. Then lay the insulation with the vapor barrier facing upwards and then apply the sub-floor.
