We have lived in this house for about 22 yrs and have blown in insulation and I can see the tops of the ceiling joists. Should We blow in more insulation or should we put roll in in. Thanks for any suggestions and help. Dave

Hi Dave and welcome to the forum. If you can, do some of the easy air sealing before you bury everything. Blown in cellulose will help somewhat with sealing leaks that you can't find. Blown-in or batts all helps, but there are usually other improvements that will do better. Note the chart in this link.
