Insulation paint
Is there a type of paint on the market that can be put on to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter?

short answer - NO!
There are some coatings that claim they have insulation properties but about the most they can accomplish is reflecting the sunlight which can keep the other side of the substrate it's applied to, cooler.... or dark colors that can attract heat from sunlight.

I thought this rumor or claim passed on a number of years ago. - Must be getting near Halloween!

Second that - a dark color may absorb light and be warmer where a light color will reflect more and be cooler but nothing exists with insulating qualities
