sound insulation on window
hi, my apartment window in a bedroom is on main road side, so the traffic noise wakes me up every morning around 5:30-6 AM.
I wonder what is the cheapest and simplest solution for reducing that noise, without any serious works and drilling in the apartment (cause it's apartment I'm renting from a guy who owns it and I can't just do what I want in it)?
Would it be something like a fury blanket ower windows? Would it reduce the traffic noise from the street?
What can i do about it?
I'm getting crazy

You're thinking in the right direction, something like heavy drapes or anything bulky.
If you can't drill to hold something in place, pick up some 2x4's, two legs and a top piece and fashion something that leans against that wall, covering the window.
