I live in a 1947 bugalow, and the floors are COLD! What is the best way to insulate them? I have seen a spray-on expanding foam on one of the home shows. It expanded to one inch and went on as a liquid. It would seem to be the ideal solution. Is it?

I see you live in Florida. R-value for floor insulation is R-13. The key is how much of that foam does it take to make R-13. It may not be cost effective.
