ThermaSheath-3 built in vapor barrier?

Is anyone familiar with ThermaSheath? It has reinforced aluminum foil on either side. My question is whether or not this foil serves as a vapor barrier? Or do I still need to put up 6 mil plastic? I am insulating a ceiling in between rafters (from the inside). So this is an open beam ceiling. Do I need to put plastic up covering the rafters at least? Or am I good to go with just the ThermaSheath?

When filling between the rafters, the VB issue of the material is less a problem than the seal up against the rafter. Since the wood will expand and contract at a different rate, the potential for air leaks is high, especially if that edge is not supported.

As for the foil being a VB, I would assume so.
