Cost of blown in insulation

Can sombody tell me the aproximate cost of blow-in insulation ?
I need to add insulation above a room that already has insulation but I want to add to it.
Access to the space is easy to get to. The size is approx. 20x20 Ft.

attic blow in --- DIY v.s. Professional

I have heard from various general contractors, that it is actually cheaper to have blown insulation done by a professional, as opposed to renting the blower, buying blow, and doing it yourself. This being due to professionals buying their material in bulk quantities. Thoughts???? Thanks.

Blow in insulation over wiring?

I just put a layer of R-13 in my attic, as that was the only one that would fit due to all the wiring running from end to end. I want to blow in additional insulation but not sure if it is ok to put it over the wiring. Thinking about bringing it up to at least R-30. Is it Ok to blow it in over the wiring, and if so is it best to use the pink fiberglass blow in, or the grey Ecco type of blow in? I put the pink faced R-13 down. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
