Cheapest place to buy insulation

I have been getting it at Lowes and it is not all that expensive....but I would like to know if that is generally the cheapest place to get it. Not looking all that cheap online which is surprising.

Thanks!

If you are buying fiberglass insulation, you can't get cheaper than you are already paying. It is very inexpensive. You would be also hard pressed to find much of anything sold at a big box store cheaper somewhere else.

Thanks, not sure if this is fiberglass insulation. Does it need to be pink to be fiberglass? This stuff is sold in bats matching the stud size with kraft face. I am just wondering because it doesn't itch me at all when putting it together cutting it etc.

Look at the label. It doesn't have to be pink to be fiberglass. If you work with it enough, the glass fibers will put many tiny cuts in your skin. I've never itched from fiberglass.
