insulating addition

I built an addition next to my house..the wall against house will need to be insulated..but the existing house wall already has insulation and vapor barrior..should i still use a vapor barrier on addition side? Or will this trap moisture??

Welcome to the forums! Did you attach the addition without removing the exterior siding? I would have used the existing framing for the addition and built on from there, reducing the depth of the wall and lumber savings. Maybe a pix or two will help us see what you see. http://www.doityourself.com/forum/el...your-post.html
