Smile Insulating Pole Barn

Have a 25' x 25' pole barn that is away from my house....live in Michigan..so it gets cold out there in the winter...the 2x4s are laid Horizontal...have been thinking of using owens corning 1 1/2" x4x8 sheets cut to lay in the space between 2x4s..then put 1/2" plywood over that....it would be quicker that studding in the walls and using rolled insulation...am useing a electric heater, cause am not comfortable using any thing else with lawn mowers and such stored in there......am opened to all ideas...

What is the spacing of your 2x4's and what is your external covering? If they are 16" oc, I would use Roxul and cover it with the plywood. Far superior in R rating than the 1 1/2" foam.
