Hi,

Our problem is a bit similar to Dawnie's, in a sense that we'd like to turn our garage into a music theater. We're also renters, and thus don't want have to much work and expense. Does anybody know a company that could send someone over to our place for an initial estimate of the cost?

I've read a lot about soundproofing and of course nobody knows THE solution. We'd prefer not to use fiberglass because it's too labor intense and we'd rather use something like cork. Cold anybody confirm that would be a good choice?

Thanks.

You want to soundproof the garage in your rental and turn it into a music studio?? You would be better served to use the money THAT would cost and make the down payment on you own house!! Without going into any details, you better have a budget of $10 to $15K to do it.
