Matching insulation and vapor barrier

I had a leak, we got a new roof. I cut the drywall larger for access. Question is now that vapor barrier I patched it a bit beciase it was torn. Is that ok?

Also since the insulation was torn out can I just put in some matching insulation where it torn out?do I need to seal them together ?

Any drywall tips?

Reinstall the vapor barrier as best you can. If you can, overlap the new and old poly and tape the seams.
