Can fiberglass insulation touch aluminium dryer pipe?

Aluminum vent pipes get much hotter to touch than flexible vents. Can they touch fiberglass insulation?

Thanks.

Yes. If dryer vents were a combustion hazard, they would be required to be double walled.

Should not be using aluminum in the first place.
That would melt through in seconds if there was a dryer fire.
Use solid galvanized pipe instead.

Aluminum is allowable by code. (504.2) Even flexible aluminum, provided it meets the standards set out in the code. (603.4)
