Ideas for covering insulation in basement ceiling

I have an unfinished section of the basement where the water softener, electric panel, hot water heater, etc are stored. It's maybe a 10 x 10 room. I also have a spare fridge hooked up in here. The ceiling currently has exposed pink fiberglass installed with the paper towards the 1st floor. (When you look up it's the pink fiberglass). I would like to cover this to prevent the fibers from falling and getting into the finished section as well as I tend to have the door ajar to let heat into the finished section. Drywall would be a pain due to the piping from the water softener, boiler and electrical. Any ideas what would be a good cover for this to contain the fiber? I rather leave it in for sound proofing to the 1st floor.
thanks in advance

House wrap would work without creating a second vapor barrier, which probably isn't an issue with that space. Any pictures?

You want to get that covered, fiberglass should not be exposed, fibers are constantly coming off and you are breathing them.

House wrap is good but you will have to look hard to find a small quantity, heavy plastic or even one of those big blue tarps stapled up is an option.

The 3' rolls of Tyvek or Typar would be easier to work with.
