concrete counter tops

I need information on installing concrete counter tops..staning and finishing the top

I am sorry, but I have never heard of a concrete counter top. Slate, marble, granite, marbleite, yes. concrete no
You finish concrete when you pour it, not after it is hard.

Don't know if you're still interested, but I have a friend who installed his own concrete kitchen counters. He poured the concrete into forms that he built himself, and I believe that he did stain the concrete after it was set. Once he did that, he put some sort of hard finish on them. They look pretty good. Very unusual. They are also very heavy, even at only 1.5" thick. He had to re-inforce the kitchen floor from below in order to support the weight of the new kitchen counters. But my guess is that they will last forever.
