What Insulation is This?
I've see this insulation--see pic--in newer houses against the poured basement foundation. I'd like to use it in my cellar over a few of my stone walls. My questions...

It's likely a faced blanket insulation. Foundations have different requirements for r-value depending on where you live, so it's hard to make a recommendation. And if there is any chance the insulation could get wet it's not a very good choice.
