Air Sealing Joist Bay Issue

Air sealing and adding ridge foam board to knee wall. On 3/4 of the attic I had easy access to joist bays to add blocking and foam in under the knee wall. I have about a 15' stretch where I can't access the joist bays because of plywood decking and some funky roof framing. I can access the joist bays in question but it will be about 6' from the knee wall where the plywood decking ends. Underneath that area is living room. Would this be acceptable and then go back and caulk all the plywood joints? I also plan to add additional insulation over that decking along with remainder of undecked attic space. Thanks.

Your plan sounds good to me. I think caulking the joints is probably overkill.
