What is the proper rake for attic insulation?

Hi,

I have had to walk in my attic quite a bit unfortunately and I have moved my blow in insulation around.

What is/are the right tool/tools for the job?

Thanks.

You're lucky you can walk in your attic. If I had trusses they probably wouldn't hold me.
Insulation rarely needs to be moved.

A light plastic snow shovel or a fan shaped plastic leaf rake work well.

Thanks for the money saving tip! I obtained a snow shovel recently that I thought would be a lot longer than it actually was. I was going to chuck it. Now it can stay in the attic instead of the landfill.
