insulation rate

hello, can someone give me an info if possible ,
im living in the level 5 area , the chart say , R25/R30 for crawl space , R19/R21 for walls , R49/R60 for attic .
the max rate that they sell at homedepot is R30 , that mean that i need to use a double layer for the attic ?

thanks a lot

Yes, that's correct. Stacking two layers of R30 in your attic would equal the recommended R60 for your Zone 5 area.

Either that or blow in to the proper depth, which is what most pros would do because it's typically superior to blanket insulation as far as installing it and covering all nooks and crannies.
