I presently have plywood sheathing for the exterior wall on the front of my house. I would like to add insulation and place another layer of plywood sheathing on top.

Is there any reason to remove the original sheathing if there is no damage? What insulation is recommended?

Thanks

Have cellulose blown into the walls, then add another layer of plywood. No reason to remove the existing siding, as long as it isn't warped, dry rotted, or water damaged.
