Insulating Existing Brick walls with foam

I am considering insulating my exterior brick walls with a foam insulation pumped in between the two courses of brick. What experiences do you have with this type of insulation? What should I look out for? Are there potential problems with this?

I do believe the space between the two courses of brick is called a drainage plane. Therefore, you should not insulate between the two. You should ask this question in the masonry and brick forum. They may be able to explain drainage planes for you better.
