water heater
my bedroom is always so much warmer than any of the other rooms in the house. I thought maybe it was because it faces SE, and has sun coming in thru the windows a good part of the day. But, the problem is still there at night. So, recently, i had to go up in the attic, and i noticed that my water heater is sitting right over my bathroom, which is off the bedroom. this is a small house, so actually , the water heater is almost right over the bedroom. does anyone think this could be part of my problem, and if so, any suggestions, short of moving the water heater out of the attic? would appreciate any replies. thanks.

Not a problem
It's hot in the attic anyways, with or without water heater.
Did you happen to notice insulation levels/ ventilation up there ??
Most heat problems in older homes are from NO attic vents !!
My 1930 house had -0- vents, not even soffit or gable vents !!

Hi regcab........
Actually this a newer home. it's about 7 years old. There's pretty good insulation up there. same as every other room. now, as far as vents go, there is that vent that goes acroos the top of the peak of the. roof. But I have wondered why my house has no vents on the wall up there. I don't know Reg. the air cools every other room. Thanlks for your suggestions.
